Lucas Paqueta says West Ham have a top player on our hands, not Bowen or Kudus. Lucas Paqueta has just offered extremely high praise for one of his West Ham United teammates, but it’s not who you might think.
West Ham trio Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus got all the headlines after our 3-0 win over Wolves on Sunday.
However, it was another Hammers star who drew praise from the Brazilian after his stunning display at the London Stadium two days ago.
Emerson Palmieri has been one of the very best left-backs in the Premier League this season, and Chelsea must be really regretting selling him to us 16 months ago.

One of the features of the Italy international’s fine form this season has been his exceptional link-up play with Paqueta – a player he spent a season playing alongside out in France with Lyon.
David Moyes moved the Brazil international out onto the left wing this term, and despite calls for him to be moved back centrally, it’s hard to argue with the Scot’s tactical switch.
Paqueta and Emerson really do have a magical understanding with one another…

The former Lyon man has been absolutely on fire for Moyes’s side recently, as has his fellow Hammer Emerson.
And Paqueta has offered high words of praise indeed for the West Ham left-back, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“Emerson is a very good player, a top player, and I’m very happy to play with him because he understands me and he knows me and when I have the ball I understand him. It’s so easy to play with him and I’m so happy!”
I never thought Emerson would be as big of a hit with the Hammers as he has been. What a player he is.
