Reports: Inter Milan, PSG and Barcelona race to sign Liverpool’s Gini Wijnaldum
The fierce battle for the signature of Liverpool‘s Gini Wijnaldum is on as Inter Milan, PSG, and Barcelona race to get the player into their camp.
Gini Wijnaldum’s contract with Liverpool will expire in less than 12 months and the club’s somewhat hesitant approach to renewing the contract is attracting some big clubs. The wage demands of the player seem to be the only obstacle in Liverpool’s way and the more they delay the very attractive the bids of the likes of Inter Milan, PSG and Barcelona become for the player and his managers.
However, the race for Gini Wijnaldum which was started by Barcelona has seen ken competitors in the likes of Inter Milan and PSG. The entire Board of Directors of Liverpool FC is doing all it can to keep him with a new deal.
Since the arrival of Gini Wijnaldum, he has been an integral part of the set up of Jurgen Klopp in the Liverpool midfield. He has played the most game in Midfield for Liverpool than any other player since his arrival. This shows how important he is to the club
Just as the board, Jurgen Klopp wants the midfielder to extend his contract and he is hopeful the club will keep him in Anfield.
The demands of the player which is reportedly a whooping 120,000/week seem to be the challenge. This amount is nearly double what he is currently earning at Anfield every week.

Good quality products sell at a higher price, and if the “We Never Walk Alone” club wants to continue to enjoy the services of the player, this is a tough one they have to pull through. Any high offers from any of the three big clubs; Inter Milan, PSG, and Barcelona could frustrate their chances.
If Wijnaldum and the Club do not reach an agreement, the midfielder may walk away from next summer into the waiting arms of the three interested clubs. By January 2021, Wijnaldum will be free to start talking with clubs interested in his services and probably secure an exit deal in a few months.
If both parties fail to agree to a deal, Wijnaldum could walk away from the club for nothing next summer. He will be free to start talking to new clubs from January and a deal for a pre-transfer could potentially be agreed to in a few months.

Out of the three clubs that have shown interest, Barcelona looks more likely to get the signature of the midfielder if Gini Wijnaldum finally makes a move out of the EPL and Liverpool.
Barcelona needs the services of the midfielder the most and if the unpredictable transfer window plays out well for them, it could be a crucial decider of Wijnaldum’s future, and the next few months will shape the prospects of a stay in Liverpool or an exit for Wijnaldum.
