Chelsea sets Twitter on fire with 3-0 trashing of Burnley at Turf Moor

The last day of October has seen great ecstasy sweep across Twitter as Chelsea trashed Burnley 3-0 at Turf Moor.

When Chelsea trashed Burnley 3-0, Twitter got very busy. 

Frank Lampard’s lads have by this victory sent out a very loud statement while playing away. It is a big win for the Blues which would boost their confidence. The signings that cost them tons of cash seem to be paying off already.

On the day, Hakim Ziyech and former Ajax midfielder registered Chelsea’s first goal in the first half through a well-taken strike.

The Blues returned to the second half in the same fashion and added one more goal to raise the tally to 2 – 0  through Kurt Zouma connected beautifully with Mason Mount’s cross and the produced a thumping header into the back of the net of the home team.

Ziyech caps off a stunning performance with a goal and assists for Chelsea. Ziyech then turned the provider. He latched onto a pass in the goal area and sent Chelsea fans to watch the game across the world into wild jubilation. This excitement caught fire on Twitter after the blues performance.

They played very well and deserved the three goals and three points at stake.  

Burnley was left stunned by the brilliance displayed by Chelsea in the final third. The home team was miserable and could not get a consolation goal. 

Chelsea by this victory have shot themselves up into 4th position on the league table but Burnely remains glued at the tail end of the Premier League. 

It looks like everything is falling in place for the Blues as their goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy has also managed four clean sheets in succession.

Today’s victory is the result of the bright attacking display away with a rather disjointed Burnely which could not string any attack together.

The  4-0 win over Krasnodar by the Chelsea lads in the Champions League on Wednesday surely set the tone for today’s victory as Frank Lampard’s side kept the momentum from that game.

The 3-0 victory looked more like a second half of the Champions League game for the blues.
