Winkongo circuit comeback from a goal down to win the maiden Edition of the B T Baba Basic Schools Inter circuits gala.

Winkongo circuit needed a great comeback to win the maiden edition of B T Baba basic shools inter circuits after conceding early the first half against Datuko south circuit.

The competition that started last week show ten circuit namely Datuko south, Datuko north, winkongo, Tongo Gbeogo, Baare, pwalugu yinduri, Duusi Yammeriga and Sheaga circuit competing for the converted trophy in both male and female categories, where Datuko south won against Tongo central in the female category while Winkongo who faced up with Datuko south circuit won the male category.

Addressing the masses MP Hon. BT Baba said “we have been channeling these supports to the community but we are seeing that we are not achieving the needed result, so this time we decided to bring it to the school so can catch the young talents and nurture them well and I hope the GES will do this annually”

He added that be basic culture competition in school in the district to revive our dying culture in the community.

In attendance was the MP for Tongo constituency, Hon. B T BABA, the DCE of the area DUANAB Thomas Peterson, the Regional NSA boss Ahmed Iddrisu , Regional PE Coordinated, madam Diana and her deputy Franklyn, The GES director Madam Christiana Azure  and her subordinates.
