It was a good exercise for Hearts of Oak despite defeat – Slavko Matic

Even though his team, Hearts of Oak, lost to the Black Galaxies on Sunday, Slavko Matic still had good things to say about them.

As part of their preparations for the CHAN in 2023, the Galaxies played a friendly against the Ghana Premier League team at the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence in Prampram.

The team led by Annor Walker comes back to beat the Phobians by a score of 2-1.

Even though his team lost, the Serbian coach praised his players and said it was good practice.

“It helped the team work together. We will keep getting ready for the job ahead, “he told reporters at the club.

“Our attention is now on that. I hope that the Black Galaxies do well in the CHAN tournament “he added.

Ghana will be going to the CHAN tournament for the first time in three years.

In Group C, where the Black Galaxies are, they play against Morocco, Madagascar, and Sudan.

Also, the Ghana Premier League will start up again on December 18, and Hearts of Oak hopes to keep doing well under their Serbian coach.
