Veteran, Muntari scores his first goal for Hearts from the spot
Veteran, Sulley Muntari finally scored his first goal for Hearts of Oak in their crucial 2-1 victory over WAFA at the Ohene Gyan Stadium in match-week 19.
The 37 year old since joining the Phobians, has made his presence felt really well and sets it ablaze again with a goal this time to grind his first league win in the Rainbow colours.
Kwadwo Obeng Jnr opened the scoring account on the 46th minute. WAFA later equalised through Derrick Antwi before Sulley Muntari converted a 75th minute penalty to grind all three points for the champions.
He is now directly involved in two goals in his last two matches in the league after also, providing an assist in their drawn game against Legon Cities last week.
Hearts of Oak are currently sitting 6th on the league table with 29 points and will travel to Aduana Stars in match-week 20 of the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
