MEX 0:0 POL: How Lewandowski’s Awful Display Shows Why He Is A Flop On International Duty
Mexico and Poland played in the third game of the FIFA World Cup today at the 974 Stadium. It was a tough game of football.
Both teams were unable to score, so the game ended in a disappointing tie.
Well, it’s clear that Robert Lewandowski started for Poland today, since he didn’t do very well against Mexico. The Barcelona Forward didn’t do much in the game, both offensively and defensively. He was more like a passenger.
In the second half, the 34-year-old had a great chance to score from the penalty spot, but he missed it horribly. This kept Poland from taking the lead against Mexico today.
Well, I think that his terrible play in the game shows why he is such a bust when he is on International duty. Polish International rarely has good games when he plays for his country, which is a big problem in his football career.
Robert Lewandowski, who was supposed to be Poland’s best player today, missed his second penalty in a row in all competitions. The 34-year-old needs to step up his game right away because Poland will depend a lot on him to get to the next round.
