It was astonishing as teenage goalkeeper Yvonne Kaputey was adjudged the woman of the match despite conceding 24 goals in a single game on Monday, February 7, 2022.

The 15-year old Yvonne was the goalkeeper for Fiaseman Royals FC when they were annihilated 24:0 by Hasaacas Ladies in Ghana’s Women FA Cup preliminary round at the Gyandu Park on Monday.

It was a round 64 fixture of the FA Cup where the reigning Champions, Hasaacas Ladies showed their dominance by whitewashing the inexperienced Fiaseman Royals FC side.

The scoreline could have been worse as Hasaacas Ladies were determined to add more insult to the injury but goalkeeper Yvonne Kaputey became the hero for Fiaseman Royals with some incredible saves.

The entire duration of the game was between the fearsome Hasaacas Ladies attackers as against the young Yvonne who was left to her fate by her ten teammates on the field.

The scoreline could have been 30:0 or more but Yvonne saved her team from the embarrassment which saw her becoming the woman of the match after the end of the game.
