Former Hearts of Oak striker, Moses Andoh has said it will be difficult for his former club to defend the Ghana Premier League title.
The Phobians were crowned Ghana Premier League champions last season after last winning the league title in 2008-2009 season.
It was the 21st league title for the Rainbow giants who were also the FA Cup and Super Cup league champions same season.
Despite not starting the ongoing 2021/22 league season on a brighter note, the Phobians are determined of defending the league title.
But Moses Andoh who played for Hearts of Oak in the 2000s believes the current happenings at the club , it will be difficult for the Phobians to defend the league title.
“It will be difficult [for Hearts to defend league title]… With the current situation, I don’t think it will be possible…They should make the players happy, they have a good coach in Samuel Boadu but I don’t think they can defend the title even though they have a good team”, Andoh said on Onua TV.
Moses Andoh played for Hearts of Oak in the 2000s and was part of the team that won the FA cup, Premier League and the CAF Champions League.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak currently sit 7th on the league log with 23 points after 15 matches, ten points adrift league leaders and bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko…
