Brazil quarantines Bolivia’s World Cup hopes with a 5-0 thriller

The Qatar world cup 2022 qualifiers have resumed and Brazil has started its campaign with a 5 goal thriller to register their intension ahead of the World Football Mundial. On the night, Bolivia looked miserable as Brazil’s talent-rich team cut them open five times to earn all three points in their first qualifier. 

The Brazil vs Bolivia game looked like a training pitch effort for Brazil but for Bolivia, it was a dream threatening start for its Qatar world cup 2022 aspirations. 

The Blue and Yellow Samba boys netted 5 goals as Neymar and Roberto Firmino help them to a thumping win.

On the day the Samba lads kickstarted their World Cup qualifying campaign in scintillating fashion, their talisman Neymar came to the party, putting in an incredible performance managing to bag a brace of assists within 90 minutes.

The visiting Bolivian National had no chance of ever redeeming themselves on the night. Some pundits argue that this qualifier was a mismatch between the Cat and the Lion.

Brazil through a perfectly measured Marquinhos header saw Bolivia pick the first ball out of their net. This was followed by Roberto Firmino’s two additional goals. Brazil was playing In front of their home fan and nothing than a convincing victory was needed. Bolivia was too generous on the night as they were quick to gift another goal to Brazil through Jose Carrasco for Brazil’s fourth goal of the night. When everyone felt the goals had stopped raining on the night, the fifth goal came through 

Philippe Coutinho was willing to have his name on the score sheet and he got as he put the drapes on the show by scoring a perfect header after connecting beautifully with an inch-perfect Neymar cross.

Brazil’s starts that shined and produce great work rates on the night were Marquinhos opened the scoring, Danilo who could be described as the absolute workhorse in the  Brazilian team, and Thiago Silva who often got the likes of Casemiro and Marquinhos doing all the work for him.
