Its been 45 years after D.K. Poison’s $45k got stuck with the government of Ghana but President Nana Akufo Addo has settled the amount owed the former champion to close the case on it.
According to Alex Ntiamoah- Boakye, Nana Addo would be presenting the new title belt to D.K Poison soon and that, the belt arrived before D.K. Poison’s $45k was paid. The delay in the presentation according to him was the result of the President’s busy schedules.
The Ghana Boxing Federation boss revealed that the Box Office has been one of the key promoters of African boxers, and Ghanaian boxers have gotten a fair share of exposer through them. The latest Ghanaian boxers who got a bite of the efforts of Box Office are Bukom Banku aka Braimah Kamoko and Bastir Samir they held whose bout at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
