Real Madrid names squad to face Liverpool
Real Madrid
Eden Hazard has not returned in time to be included in Real Madrid’s squad list for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie against Liverpool at Anfield.
There has been positive news regarding Fede Valverde, though, as the Uruguayan midfielder will make the trip to England after coming off injured in El Clasico last weekend.
With Hazard, Zinedine Zidane does not want to take any risks with the Belgian and has refused to give in to the pressure of bringing him back for the Clasico or the Liverpool tie.

Hazard has been out of Real Madrid squad since March 13 with a psoas injury, which he picked up during Real Madrid’s match against Elche.
Valverde, meanwhile, did not train with his Real Madrid teammates on Monday morning, but the hope is that he will be back in time for Wednesday night’s fixture.
There is the thought that Valverde could potentially fill in at right-back, given that neither Dani Carvajal nor Lucas Vazquez are available. He could even receive an injection in order to play against Liverpool.
Zidane has selected three Castilla players for the Liverpool trip: Victor Chust, Sergio Arribas and Marvin Park.
Full list:
