Barcelona superstar makes bold claim ahead of 2022 FIFA World Cup

Pedri is one of the seven Barcelona players on Luis Enrique’s list of 26 players for the World Cup in Qatar.

Pedri, who is 19 and is considered one of the best young players in the world, is expected to play in all of Enrique’s 2018 World Cup games.

Pedri is excited to play in the FIFA World Cup for Spain. It will be his first game ever. Because he wants to help, the midfielder has already said that he will give up his prized head of hair if La Roja is successful. Pedri told Marca the following in a conversation:

“If we win, I’ll let the barber shave me or do something else to me. Our young crew wants to win and do well. Every time we play a game, the playing field shows that. I think it will help our kids, not hurt them.

Pedri has been in great shape for Barcelona in the 2022–23 season. He has been controlling the game from the middle and scoring important goals on occasion. The midfielder, who was born in Tenerife, has played in 19 games and scored three goals for the team this season.

Barcelona star Pedri says that Spain’s spot in the World Cup is a dream come true.

After getting a lot of praise at the European Championship in 2021, Pedri is ready to surprise the world in Qatar. In an interview with Marca, Pedri said that he had always wanted to play in the World Cup and that he was excited to make a difference.

It’s a dream come true for me to be able to play it. Being here is insane. The truth is that I’m just as excited about it as I was when I was competing in the European Championship or the Olympic Games.

Spain is in Group E with Germany, Costa Rica, and Japan. Pedri is in charge of Spain. On November 23, they will play Costa Rica in their first 2022 FIFA World Cup match.
